Any advice on how to deal with this situation? (He said we'd still be friends mid-break) He's also a redditor so I had to make a second account so he wouldnt see this. I'm devastated and want nothing more than to talk to him, even if just a casual conversation, but I want to give him his space and time to think. Throughout the conversation he kept assuring me that he loves me but for some reason i keep worrying that he wont come back. We've been perfectly happy with our situation and very serious about each other so this was a huge shock to me. My boyfriend (M,25) of 6 years told me (F,22) yesterday that he wants to take a break so he can get his life on track and because the distance (LA and Palm Springs) is getting hard to deal with.
